I started my blog in February 2005 to keep in touch with friends and family back in Australia. I moved it to this domain in April 2007 to have more ownership and customisation than permitted under the free blogging software offered by Blogspot.

This is a personal blog about my life in London, my travels, and my thoughts on the world. I write what I want to write and I update when I want to update. This is not the way to build an audience online - it’s clear that focused, single-issue blogs are much more effective. But I run this blog for me and my friends and family so I am not concerned whether I have two or 200 readers.

The rules are pretty simple. It’s a public site so anyone is welcome to read but words and pictures are copyright so please contact me before reproducing anything you find here. Comments are very welcome but spam or abuse will not be tolerated.
